Terminator 2 Hunter  Killer Ship Protector

We made a plastic plate that fits the exact silhouette of a T2 Hunter / Killer ship. It assembles to the metal wire with two extra locknuts, tying the plate and wire into one rigid piece. The ship screws stay a little loose.

This assembly means that the ship shell is no longer locked to the wireform, and no longer undergoes extensive deformation when an airball hits.

Here's our illuminated version. It ties to GI for power, and the target flashers to trigger the lights. We're working on the patterns: they will change after every few flash groups. The device requires four solder connections under the playfield. Available at Pinbits in April. We'd have been quicker - except there's software, and we had to redesign to work with low-voltage machines.
